Dearest Hannah I read this very beautiful "reflection" and was very touched by it. It reminded me of what Paul said in Philippians 2:8..."I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ." We are so blest when we serve and children especially can wind up being such illuminators and teachers! What's that scripture? A little child shall lead them... How wonderful that Mary could join you and bring such treasures. That picture of that little girl with her jewelry on spoke volumes of her joy to have something special.. How fortunate they are to have you. How blest you are to have them in your life at this particular time. Keep yourself in the love of God..
Thank you Mary! This opportunity and these children have been greater teachers than I could have ever imagined. I never realized how much this would strengthen my faith until I really submerged myself in it. It is refreshing!
Also a fan of Nina's reflection and that you feel the same way.
"Give me your eyes for just one second Give me your eyes so i can see Everything that i keep missing Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted The ones that are far beyond my reach? Give me your heart for the one's forgotten Give me your eyes so i can see" - Brandon Heath
